A Bus tour for a sandwich

Sunday i ate dinner with Simon (Chineese x roommate), he offered me to try some fried shrimps with chilli sause wich was quite good actually, but a bit hot. We got a new roommate late in the evening.
Monday Pio showed taught me some tricks with the snake handeling so that I can feel more confident in passing the snake on to the costumers.
Our first Friday where we actually left at 2:10pm which is the earliest I have ever got off work, guess will is always on time. The French roommate we got said that the new roommate don’t really say anything, I tried to say hi to him 3 times without a reply, so I guess that he is not a speaker. 8pm I booked a bus ticket to Ingham to try and see the Big waterfall before I go back home.
Tuesday I got up at 06am because I had to catch the bus by 07 and I had to meet the bus 20 minutes prior departure. I got to Ingham at 8:40, I tried to book an Uber, but no cars were running, so I went to an information center to try and see if there were another way to get there, since the waterfall was an hour from the city, they called a tourbus to confirm that their not running any tours at the moment, so they told me my only option was to try and get picked up by someone, because a taxi would be hundreds of dollars. Anyway I went through the wetlands (kind of a swamp/park) really beautifull, I saw a lot of birds and turtles. At around 10 o clock I went to a CafĂ© to get the best sandwich I have got so far, served in a huge basket and the sandwich filled out the whole basket. After my brunch I tried to get a lift to the waterfall by calling the city taxi’s And right the taxi driver spoke to me as I was crazy and then he told me the price and I got it, 200-250Au$ each way, 500$ (2500DKK) which is way more than expected, since when I planned it, I planned to take an uber and they are way cheper like 150 Au$(750DKK) return. So I decided to move my luckily flex bus ticket to earlier and went out to see what I could in the city. No waterfall, but a god experience and a really good sandwich. When I got back to Townsville I walked the strand and bought an icecream wich discount because I have been there before ;). Our new roommate had moved out and no one had spoken to him, that was a bit strange. At 06:40-07:00pm I went out on the Victorian bridge where I saw all the Bats flying to the magnetic island for the night.
